11 to 36kV through 40,000 Amperes

A bus structure is an assembly of bus conductors with associated connection joints, insulation supports, and enclosure.

What is an isolated-phase bus?

An isolated-phase bus is one, in which, each phase conductor is enclosed by an individual metal housing, and separated from adjacent conductor housings by an air space.

Where is it used?

It is used, as a generator lead/s to transformer/s or for connecting transformers to switchgear assemblies, to conduct electric power from one point to another where large power concentrations are present. It is also used in switching stations to provide the highest degree of safety to personnel, while eliminating phase to-phase faults.
